Competency Development with Application at workplace

After every level, it is mandatory for each participant to write a report outlining their learning and some areas where they can apply their new learnings.

ReportEach participant is required to write a report after each Level. EDPM program has 4 Levels so the EDPM participants need to write 4 reports - one after each level outlining the new things they have learnt and how they can improve their work performance. The IEDPM participants attend an additional level which is a week long study tour to USA so they need to write one additional report for the USA component.

Report on Level 1: Is must and should be written by participants suggesting changes in their own work environment in view of inputs gained in the Eight Project Life Cycle Phases of Project Management level.

Report on Level 2: Is must and should be written by participants suggesting changes in their own work environment in managing stake holders, Project Leadership and based on their interaction in experience sharing session.

Report on Level 3: Is must and should be written by participants suggesting changes in their own work environment in view of learning in project risk management and human capital level.

Report on Level 4: Is must and should be written by participants suggesting changes in their own work environment in view of learning in advanced management concepts project, case studies, strategic project management and project mindset.

Report on Level 5:  Is must and should be written by participants suggesting changes in their own work environment in view of learning from the topics covered by the GW School of Business, Site visit and interaction with USA GAO and Department of Energy Officials, in context of their organization.

Composite Final Report (CFR)

Composted Final Report

Every participant must also submit a Composite Final Report (CFR) recommending few major steps to be initiated in their department for better delivery of projects/ programs. It should be accepted by top management of their company.

This report must be submitted by all participants. CFR covers the major learnings of participants throughout the entire program. It also recommends a Plan of Action (PoA) to their management to improve the way projects are managed in their companies.

 

Leadership Demonstration

Implement the changes of the accepted recommendations within a given time frame by aligning stakeholders including team members and higher management.

Over the last 11 years, we have found that significant advantages had accrued to companies by implementing recommendations given by the participants of the I/EDPM program.
